Co-Parenting Coaching

Raising children across two homes is real work, and nobody hands you a manual for it. A co-parenting coach helps you write one, for your family, your schedule, and your child.

I’m Cherie Morris, a divorce and conflict coach, and co-parenting is the heart of my practice. I work with parents in every arrangement: together as co-parents, one parent at a time, married, never married, newly separated, or years down the road. Every shape of family belongs here.

What we work on together

  • A parenting schedule built around your child’s age and your family’s real life. The right schedule quietly lowers the temperature in both homes.
  • Communication that feels lighter. Fewer flashpoints, shorter messages, and a plan for the moments that used to be hard.
  • The tender conversations. Telling the children, introducing a new partner, holidays, and the first day of school in two homes.
  • The seasons that ask for more. Sometimes an old hurt resurfaces, or an agreement stops fitting the family you have become. We take on the deeper work, and the updated conversations it calls for, together.
  • Your own steadiness. Children borrow their calm from us, so we care for yours first.

How I work

Your child lives in the space between your two homes, and that space is what we are really taking care of. I can work with both of you together, and when one parent comes alone, that works beautifully too. One person genuinely can soften a co-parenting relationship.

I am based in the Seattle area and work with co-parents in Seattle, the Washington, DC region, and virtually nationwide. I also wrote a chapter in Putting Kids First in Divorce, and I teach in the CDC® High Conflict Divorce Coaching certification program.
